Abstract
The study aimed to identify the degree of sensing job burnout and its relation with the teaching performance of Arabic language teachers at the secondary level in Jordan. The study sample consisted of (140) male and female teachers of Zarqa First Directorate of Education. To apply the study, the researcher prepared the study tools represented in a questionnaire of the job burnout of teachers and a questionnaire of their teaching performance. The study results indicates that the degree of sensing the job burnout of Arabic language teachers at the secondary level in Jordan was medium, there are differences in the degree of sensing job burnout in favor of females, there are no differences among teachers according to the variable of the scientific qualification, there are differences in the teaching experience in favor of (10 years and more), and there is an inverse statistically significant relationship between the degree of sensing the job burnout of Arabic language teachers and their teaching performance. In light of the results, the study reached to several recommendations and suggestions.
