Abstract
Abstract This research analysis the bilateral relation between China and the United States, after the end of Cold War. The methodology adopted is the historical approach and comparative analysis. The period of Mao Ts Tong in China, and Richard Nixon in the U.S.A, was distinguished by the resumption of relations, after being served for (22) years. The study, thus, handled are relations between the two countries, in their political, diplomatic and economic levels. The study emphasized the economic relations between both countries, which other relation evolved. The research findings showed that the relations between both countries was governed by natural interests, in most of the cases. This because China which represent a huge human power, makes a large purchasing power and a permanent market for America products. Likewise, China would benefit from American investments and the technology transfer. This will promote its economic development. The study also found that China is distinguished by its strategic location. It was a huge military power, this was clearly in the Islands of south China Sea. This had instigated the U.S.A to conclude a number of states in the region, so as to curb the growing Chinese ambitions. The study also found that there are several spheres for the development and deepening of the relation between the two countries; and which could be used for their mutual interests in the present and future, if the polities and plans which may make them a success were set
