Abstract:-: - Using Path Analysis Technique for Determining The Direct and Indirect Effects Factors of Students Failure "Case Study at the Technical College Administrative- Baghdad" Keywords: (external variables, internal variables, path analysis, causal models, path coefficients, influencing variables, one-way model, group model, Specification , Identification , Stepwise method ). For the purpose of reaching the main reasons which affecting (increasing repetition rates in the college = Y), The research discussed several independent variables that the researchers believe to have direct effects on the rise of this ratio and these variables are( x1=Achieving student desire at admission , x2= Satisfaction in the scientific section, x3=Achieve student's scientific ambition , x4 =Provide student's scientific capabilities , x5= Student achievement of scientific duties, x6 =The topics of the accepted section are interesting , x7 = The average student rate in the prep ) The method used in this research is the technique of analysis of the path and method of multiple regression to see the indirect effects and direct effects of these factors that contribute to high repetition rates. The technique of path analysis is a way to test a model of relationships for a set of variables. And finding the multiple correlation of each relationship to determine the correlation between them by the logical arrangement in the regression equation and obtain the results according to the effect of their entry into the equation using the Stepwise method and to determine whether a variable is affected by the variables that preceded it, and how much is added for the purpose of predicting the values of the dependent variable The study sample consisted of (225) male and female students at the Technical CollegeAdministrative - Baghdad for the morning and evening studies. A questionnaire was randomly distributed to the students, which included a number of variables that the researchers believe are important in influencing the increase in repetition rates. The research included four main topics. The first topic was concerned with the methodology of the research. The conceptual and theoretical framework was the second part. The third topic dealt with the practical and applied aspect of the research. The conclusions and recommendations were from the fourth topic. The researchers found a set of facts as follows: - The existence of explanatory variables that have direct relation to the response variables and the appropriate specification was used to construct the mathematical model where it was developed in an integrated system of equations. The appropriate identification for each equation in the model The researchersconcluded that the indirect effects of the factors have had higher morale effects than if these factors directly affect the response variables.
