Abstract
Today we live in an age that develops and changes around the clock. This is clearly demonstrated by the explosion of knowledge and technology that we are witnessing today, as well as the fact that we are living in a world where the computer and the Internet are invading all the life of the world, such as the small village. Civilization and scientific and technological progress to prepare the members of society and to absorb the great cognitive development and the pace of modern civilization (Abdullah, 1992: 81). The process of learning is a social educational process in which the elements of the educational process interact in order to develop the learner. Therefore, we see that the relationship between education is closely related and since the educational process is based on the scientific assets in higher education and making those interested in it the university of the main axis in higher education to link its goals and philosophy with objectives and philosophy This is clear for the basic education faculties, which have the responsibility of preparing the teacher of the basic education stage, which starts or motivates them to spark creativity (Waeli, 2001: 5). Shibli stresses the need to rehabilitate the teacher scientifically, professionally and psychologically (Shibley, 2000: 8). The teacher is not a communicator of knowledge but an educational leader who directly influences a large number of learners who teach them. In this regard, Al-Khafaji (1982) refers to the importance of the need to use modern methods and methods in the teaching of subjects based on more effective methods than old methods and methods, which call for more attention to concepts rather than to conservation and indoctrination. The new educational methods make the student objectively in his view of things. He makes judgments that are biased or influenced by physical methods. He trains him to think correctly. (Al-Khafaji, 1982: 19). The conditions of modern educational theories in learning and education have had a clear impact on the reorganization of teaching materials and their teaching methods (Aqeelan, 2002: 44). Ozil's theory is one of the cognitive theories that combined Brunner's theorem with Gannian theory. Ozil distinguished between learning by receiving and learning from discovery and learning by memorization and meaningful learning where the student interacts with this cognitive structure appropriately under a system of related and more comprehensive concepts. Meaningful learning occurs if What has been linked to the educational material with previous learned experiences of the learner. One of the educational applications of Ozil's theory is the concept maps that emphasize that understanding the relationships between concepts is essential to the process of learning concepts (Muhammad, 2002: 10). Harten believes that there is a positive effect of conceptual maps in the educational process or achievement of some outputs such as achievement (Harten, 1983: 5). This is one of the reasons why use of concept maps has been widely used as a method of teaching several subjects. Several studies have used conceptual maps, all of which illustrate the superiority of groups that used conceptual maps on groups studied according to the usual method in light of the results given. Current research acquires importance through the importance of concept maps that can: 1. Helps students to focus on key concepts where the process of acquiring the concept is a fundamental goal in learning as well as the basis of the thinking process. 2. An educational application of Ozil's theory because it emphasizes learning based on meaning rather than learning based on conservation and indoctrination. 3. Helps the learner not only to learn but to learn how to learn and develop his cognitive skills and develop the orbits of his thinking, and this is confirmed by Ozil that the learner puts concepts newly learned under the meanings of old concepts. 4. Provide a summary of the educational material, showing how learners understand the concepts in the lesson and the nature of the relationships that connect them
