The global economy has been shaken by the subprime crisis that hit the US economy in 2008, which has spread to some countries of the world in one way or another.
At the time, there was a divergence of opinion among those who were distressed by the crisis as a summer cloud, and pessimistic thinking that the crisis would wipe out the Iraqi economy.
Today, nearly six years after this crisis, we have had to study its effects, to put into words the balance of scientific criticism, to learn from the credibility of economic analysis at the time, and whether it agreed right or its side.
This study was called (the crisis of US mortgages and its impact on the Iraqi economy), which studied the causes of the crisis and its repercussions on the Arab region on the public and Iraq in particular, and given the lack of serious studies on the situation in Iraq, and the absence of specialized journals, The Internet relied on the statements of officials, and on some of the reactions of economists.
This paper, after this brief introduction, included four questions:

The fourth topic: the effects of the financial crisis and proposals to address it.
