| Abstract | ||
| This experiment was conducted in the lath house of College of Agriculture / Kirkuk University (35.53o North 44.38o East). Bulbs daffodils class (Salome) white color have diameter 8-10 cm were planted on 11.10.2015 , when the plants reached forth leave stage, the plants were sprayed with two concentrations of the growth retardant Cycocel ( 0 , 1250 ) ml.l-1 and three different concentrations of the growth retardant Alar ( 0 , 500, and 1000 ) ml.l-1; however. The Experiment was conducted using Randomized Complete Block Design (R.C.B.D). The results indicated that treatment with Alar caused a significant decrease in plant height, length of sepals, and increase in sepal width. Whereas, treatment with Cycocel caused a noticeable increase in the number of leaves, obvious decrease in (plant height, and stalk of flowers), significant increase in (stalk of flowers diameter with the flowering duration), and high wet weight of bulbs and bulb lets. | ||
