| Solvent extraction system of aqueous Lanthanum picrate with benzo-15-Crown-5 ( B15C5 ) , 18-Crown-6 ( 18C6 ) , dibenzo-18-Crown-6 (B218C6 ) , dicyclohexyl-18-Crown-6 (Cy218C6 ) and dibenzo-24-Crown-8 (B224C8) dissolved in 1,2-DCE and other organic solvents. The lanthanum cation is extracted as 1:1 complex with B15C5, 18C6, B218C6 and Cy218C6, but as 2:1 L:M sandwich complex with B224C8. The effect of various parameters on the distribution ratio value of La (ІІІ) such as time of equilibrium and organic solvents are determined. The measurements are made using direct current polarography (DCP) and differential pulse polarography (DPP), using 0.1M-KCl as supporting electrolyte | ||
