Abstract
The aim of this research was to study the knowledge level of the peasants in samarra distract - sallah adden province to study the risk of pesticides on humans and the environment also to study the procedures are being taken by them to reduce those risks by followers of some of the procedures in the areas of research and the relationship with those actions and some special peasant's factors. We were collected a data by a questionnaire it have two part. the first part included which some of the factors as (age, educational level , the area of land cultivated , the number of years of use of the pesticide , the sources of communication and attitudes to training) , the second part included six fields about pesticrte risk , first field (information about pesticide risks. The other five fieldes represent the procedures of agricultural pesticides to low risk as (the field of preventive measures , the use of the pesticide , pesticide storage , the way to get rid of excess pesticide and disposal of empty containers. Data collected from (47) peasant, representing 8,3% of the total peasantes . we were used some statistical methods as: Pearson correlation , Spearman and (t) test. Results Showed low in the Knowledge peasant's about pesticide risks to humans and the environment either in the fields of the procedures of the peasant's to reduce pesticide risk results were disposal of empty containers in last place came, as the results show a significant correlation between the procedures of peasant's to reduce pesticide risks and the most studied factores. The researcher recommends increasing the sources of information to improve knowledge about agricultural pesticides and risk reviews; and planning training programs in the fields that showed a decline in the level of the procedures of reducing the risk of pesticides, as well as exploit the samarra satellite channel to explanation the dangers of pesticides and procedures to reduce those risks ..
