Abstract
There are difficulties facing students in the subject of tennis games (tennis) which (the practical application of the material and the difficulties of the subject matter and the difficulties potential and other difficulties, difficulties) and this was confirmed by a lot of the teaching staff through the questionnaire and personal interviews, the researcher, and the purpose of the study: to identify the difficulties faced by students He studied at the tennis games in the College of Physical Education and Sports Science at Baghdad University, the researcher used the descriptive survey manner. And included a sample of 200 students who represent the third phase students in the College of Physical Education University of Baghdad, of the total community of students, totaling 247, and the procedures included the numbers of the scale as it has been a primary axes that are related to the difficulties faced by the students identify were (4 ) axes. Then was drafted paragraphs of each axis of these hubs and their number and ( 47) paragraph of the students were divided according to their relative importance and select the method of drafting the paragraphs in accordance with the method of Likert were then view the paragraph on a group of experts and specialists to demonstrate the suitability and nominated (30 ) items to gauge the difficulties faced by students . After the application of the scale was performed statistical analyzes in terms of their ability and discriminatory internal consistency and the scientific foundations of the scale, The researcher also used appropriate statistical methods in the search. After analyzing the results and discuss the researcher concluded that the allocated share of material a little time , leading to inadequate teaching material Tennis Games in AVI, while the researcher recommended : the need to increase the number of hours and units of teaching the material tennis games in the Sports College of Physical Education and Science in Baghdad as well as the use of modern methods and techniques in teaching the material .
