The study was conducted in Agriculture college station of study the effect of soil cover and transplant date on yield growth of cauliflower two hybrids, the experiment included three factors, the first was kinds of cover: yellow, black, wood sawdust and without covering ,the second factor transplant date:1/10 and 10/10, the third factor the hybrids of cauliflower: Sold snow& Organza .
The experiment was carried out using a split-plot with the application of the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications and analyzed the results statistically and compared to rates of transactions by multiple borders Duncan test at probability of 0.05, outperformed the treatment coverage in the Yellow blacetk recipe plant height, reaching an average 54.608 cm, compared with less rate where it was 47.350 cm. And the length of the curd which averaged 9.233 cm compared to the lowest rate, which stood at 7.933 cm , excelled while treatment coverage Black Polyethylene in the character of the total production, which was an average of 6.176 ton / hector, compared with less rate, which it was4.973 ton / hector for treatment of comparison , Outweigh transplanting the first 1/10 in recipes vegetative growth (plant height, leaf area), which amounted to (55.950 cm, 228.83 cm2.Leaf).(also got an increase in quality-winning recipes ( height the curd , curd diameter), which amounted to(9.683 cm, 11.941 cm) for the same time in arow, respectively, showed no significant differences for hybrids used in the studied traits. |
