| Abstract | ||
| This study contributes to repel against what the poetic heritage has faced of accusation and distortion to its facts and effects on human life .Among these charges is the one that claims that the old Arabic poem lacks unity,and that the old Arabic poet was not successful enough to move from one meaning to another within a single text. This research discusses some critics’ opinions in relation to transitions in the Arabic poem. These critics have claimed that the ancient poet did not pay any attention to the sequence of meanings ,therefore lack of substantive unity. However, the research has proved otherwise, stating that the poem has an emotional unity which helps the poets move from one meaning to another. | ||
