Abstract
Abstract
In Systems theories, every system can be considered as a grey system, in the case of the principle of non – certainty to describe the information of it whether equations or in sufficient and properties.
In this paper, the grey model was used for forecasting of production of rice in Iraq, and then combining the Grey forecasting model and Fourier residual modification to refine the forecasting effectiveness for the data.
This study show that the combining between the two models providing an effective method for forecasting the rice production, and improving the accuracy of forecasting in case of time series of short – term with significant fluctuations.
