| Abstract This experiment was conducted during the winter season 2012 -2013 in the Missan Directorate of Agriculture farm .The purpose of this study was to 177 investigate the effect of planting date on the growth and yield and yield components of wheat crop( IPAA 99) was cultivated in to three time (15October -15November – and 15 December ) randomized complete Block Design (RCBD) was used in this study .According to this study . the second date (15November) was higher in the growth than the others such as plant length (10 4.5cm) . The tillers in square mater were also more in the second date as( 452) . The flag leave area in the second date was (59.45cm2) . The second date was higher in yield and yield components.The results of the Tiller number in squre mater (391) The weights of 1000 grains were also higher in the second date as (39.5g) . Yield werer (5100 t /h).Biological yield in the second date was (15.39 t /h) .The hay was (10.350 t / h) in the second date .Index harvest was( 33.01% ) | ||
