| Abstract | ||
| Consultation (Al-Mashura) is an important human goal. From the ancient days, individuals and groups could experience its importance. Quran, prophets, kings, scholars and wisdom men encouraged people to practice consultation. The study includes two sections – focusing on the literary and historical texts quoted from modern and old references. The first section defines “consultation” linguistically and terminologically, highlighting its value in life in addition to the required features of the consultant. The second section concerns it self with the main types of consultation in some quoted texts. The study ends up with a number of conclusions. This study doesn’t claim to be comprehensive. | ||
