| Abstract | ||
| The Belikh river is one of the rivers that hide in its basin a lot of archaeological hills, dating back to prehistoric times. This was pointed out by the archeologist M.Vanloon, where it was found that 23 archaeological remains in this basin conceal the traces of prehistoric times and early potsherds (9500-5500 BC). It contains 27 archaeological remains with the remains of the famous Tell Halaf pottery (5500-4500 BC), while the pottery of the slaves is located on 14 archaeological hills. In the era of Uruk, its traces were found only in seven archaeological hills. The archaeological researcher in his last census, through an archaeological survey of the banks of the river Balikh to the existence of 250 archaeological sites in that region. | ||
