| Abstract | ||
| The short story is a global literary art that has witnessed a great development in recent decades, including the diversity of its themes and contents and the increase of its book, Despite the evolution of the novel and its global fame, the short story has maintained its global standing, taking into account the number of its own writers and readers. The short story in Iran entered the field of literature by some of the story writers, especially young people, who dealt with various topics in society. The aim of this research is to highlight the history of the short story in Iran from the beginning until the present age, which included the movement of its development and its important components and the most famous story writers, The research will also address the factors, facts, and political and social events that influenced the short story, its themes and its linguistic style. | ||
