| Abstract | ||
| This study shows so many historical facts, revealing the attitudes of the Arabian confrontation states (Egypt and Jordan). After the tension prevailing between Kuwait and Iraq, the Iraqi leadership issued a resolution for the Iraqi army to enter (Kuwait). The Arabian states show different reactions towards this incident and its results on the Arabian national security particularly the Jordanian, and Egyptian, attitudes in 1999. Egypt, in so many international conferences shows its attitude towards the crisis. The Egyptian foreign affairs shows high diplomacy standing with the side of Iraq and insisting that Iraq should avoid war which might destroy the country. But the Egyptian attitude had been changed quickly, deciding to confront Iraq with military forces and put obstacles to fail the Arabian initiatives which reveal peaceful resolutions to avoid war. At the same time, the Jordanian political attitude is characterized with quietness and rationality informing all the conflicted sides that Jordan has the same attitudes towards all and look for peaceful resolutions to make Iraq avoiding war. | ||
