Abstract
Algerian Navy during long periods of the modern era, seizing thousands of French, Spanish, Italian and British ships. According to some European statistics, this has captured and arrested approximately one million prisoner of a European, mostly Italian coast, Spanish, and Portuguese, as well as from the coast of France, Britain, the Netherlands and Ireland, and even beyond that down even Iceland and North America. Was the brothers Barbarossa is mystic, more famous sea captain, since the founding of the city as the capital of Algiers Regency, since the beginning of the 16th century, to last a three hundred years of Ottoman presence in the Maghreb, and the establishment of marine center. Then the Algerian Navy resumed its activity from Algiers, for waging the last British fleet in 1824 attack against Algiers. On the last play France colonized most of the Maghreb coast during the 19th century.
