| Abstract Agriculture in general and corps gardening in specific face many challenges, some of which are the factors of lesion, diseases and bushes which contribute when increasing to decrease the production, deteriorate the quality of the agricultural land and recess the fertile areas. When carrying out a case study of (13200) acres of gardening areas in Al-Husseiniyah, to the east of the city of Karbala, it is found out that the gardening corps are negatively affected by several harmful damages which led to a drop in the production of fruit and citrus plants down to (10 kilograms) per a tree and the date palm tree to (60 kilograms). This means great loss in the total production of these corps and consequently causes decline of agricultural lands that may be left unplanted by farmers. Some of the lesions found are date palm pollen decay and white flour disease. | ||
