Abstract
chicken is considered to be a necessarily important nutrition resource; seeing that meat production cannot adequate the growing demand because of the population growth. Chicken is defined as fast productive session and small farm animal. This research aims to recognize the reality of the poultry projects through geographical distribution in the study area. The importance of this research in the study area is related to achieving self – sufficiency in chicken production for the consumers, and, also, detecting the most important effective defects and obstacles that face the poultry projects at the present time. The study problem can be summarized as lack in support from the competent authorities to the poultry projects on one hand, and dumping internal market policy; importing chickens from neighboring countries. Several references, including books, researches, field studies for the poultry project sites through taking coordinates by using GPS, and distributing questionnaires on the owners of the projects and interviews to coverage the data that the researcher could not obtain are used in this research. In addition, spatial analysis and statistical techniques in ArcMap 10.1 are used. This study is divided into three main sections, introduction, and results.
