Abstract
Abstract Baitullah ghadeer was on Thursday, the eighteenth of dhu al-hijjah of the year (1 hegira / 631 a.d), a historic turining point in the message of the prophet muhammad (peace be upon him and his household) and his administration which completed the message of islam by godʼs will. Almighty allah has chosen the time and the place during the pilgrimage farewell in ghadeer khum. the prophet chose the place because it was a crossroads where all the pilgrims gathered before going to their home countries, and they would be able to record and witness everything. In ghadeer khum, the words of allah descended on the prophet muhammad (peace be upon him),ˮ O messener! Proclaim the (message) which hath been sent to the from they lord. if thou didst not, thou wouldst not have fulfilled and proclaimed his mission. and allah will defend thee from men (who mean mischief). ˮ almaida, verse 67. In two different locations, namely alkhaev mosque and koraa ghamam the revelation descended on the prophet before, but the prophet was not sure of muslimʼs protection and infallibility. at that time. while the third time emphasized the protection and infallibility. it was the order of allah that couldʼnt be postponed when he gethered pilgrims in ghadeer khum. muslims were told about the right of imam ali (peace be upon him) in being the successor of the prophet, as the prophet said, ˮ whom I was his master, ali is his master, my god, help his friends and antagonize his enemies, support those who assist him and humiliate those who let him down ̒ ʼ and the verses sent by allah revealed, ̒ ʼ this day have I perfected your religion for you, completed my favour upon you, and have chosen for you islam as your religion ̒ ʼ almaida,3 Imam ali the commander of the faithful received the congratulations of the muslim men and women and poets wrote eulogies to describe the situation that prevailed muslims. The story of baitullah ghadeer (allegiance of algadeer) was mentioned by tellers, scholars and historians and other scholars some of whom did not deny what was stated in the texts of sermons of the prophet regarding the mandate of the imam ali, but haters and bigots denied it. when imam ali (peace be upon him) wanted to test the sincerity of the prophetʼs companions about the allegiance with the messenger of allah, most of them denied and lied. some reports mentioned that only thirty of the companions emphasized the allagiance and in other stories it was seventeen or sixteen, the number reached twelve in some stories. zaid bin arqam admitted that he did not tell the truth and he lost his eyesight as imam ali had asked allah to punish those who hid the truth. The allegiance of ghadeer was actually the divine light that came out of the variables in the muslim community during the prophetʼs life. It was a result a cause and birth. A result came from: Misbehavior with the messenger of allah. Emergence of the phenomenon of selfishness. Rampant hypocrisy. Violation of the rules of worship and obligations. Underrating the importance of prayer. And it was the cause of these events: Hadith of alkamees (the pen and paper). Allegiance of alsakeefa (penthouse). It was abirth, for it was a bright occasion to give birth to imam shiite ideology.
