| Abstract This research aims to study the creative thinking discourse of Imam Al-Abass’s holy life and the architectural development of his holy shrine. It consists of four chapters. The first chapter is devoted to tackle the problem of the research, its importance, aims, limits and the definition of the basic terms.The problem of the study is presented to answer the following question: ‘Does the creative thinking discourse have an impact on the architectural development of Imam Al-Abass’s holy shrine along with the importance of his holy life? The second chapter represents the theoretical part of the research. It introduces Al-Imam’s holy life, the city of Karbala, the architectural development of Al-Abass Holy Shrine. The third chapter is devoted to the procedures which deals with: the research data; (9) decorative constructions, the sample of the research; (3) stylistically unraviled decorative samples, the research methodology, the analysis and discussion. Finally, the fourth chapter deals with the results, conclusions, recommendations and suggestions. | ||
