| Abstract Our country، Iraq، is one of those countries aiming at scientific development. Special needs sport is one of the special and significant sports in the time being for it affords focal role in the rehabilitation of specifications in order to achieve the best and top athletic achievements. The problem of this paper lies in the fact that players lose accuracy in the speed and endurance of set and lay up shots in wheelchair basketball. Furthermore، the aim of the paper is to set special trainings to develop performance speed and endurance of scoring precision from set and lay up shooting among wheelchair basketball players. Whereas the hypothesis of the paper is stating that there are statistically significant differences between the results of pre and post tests of the experimental group in favor of the posttests. As for the methodology of the study، the experimental approach is adopted due to its suitability to the nature of the problem. In terms of the sample of the study، a group of (10) players from Maysan wheelchair basketball club are selected. They were divided into two equal groups; control and experimental of (5) players each. Moreover، through the study results، a group of conclusions were found out، most importantly: the special trainings had good impact on developing performance speed and endurance and lay up shooting accuracy among members of the experimental group of wheelchair basketball players. | ||
