Abstract
Abstrac:

This stydy aimed to know the effect of the guided discovery style in developing learning motivation in secondary school students toward lessons of physical education and sports، and detect the effect of this style in this motivation according to the sports activities external practice factor. The study sample consisted of (71) students distributed among two groups،The expremental group(36)student were taught using the guided discovery style، The control group(35)student were taught using traditional teaching style.
In order to achieve the objectives of the study، an experimental method with quasi-experimental design is used، one tools are used in collecting data of the study : The scale of learning motivation in lessons of physical education and sports .
Results of the study showed that the guided discovery style led to the development of learning motivation toward physical education and sports lessons، interaction between the teaching style and sports activities external practice factor in developing of learning motivation in a sample’s study.
