| Abstract | ||
| In this study, nanostructure thick films of Pb0.2Cd0.8S were prepared by the chemical bath deposition technique on glass slides at 343 K with different thicknesses ( 2.65 , 3 and 3.58)μm.The surface morphology of films which characterized by AFM and SEM revealed the formation started in low thickness with small islands to reach the final structure formation in 3.58μm with nano sheets (Like- stars) and homogenous for whole area of top surface and the spherical crystallite size of the films is found to range from 50 nm to 100 nm. The optical absorption and transmission properties of films were determined by UV spectrophotometry.The energy band gap values were increased with thickness increased as 2.65 μm (2eV), 3 μm (2.2 eV) and 3.85 μm (2.23 eV) according to the principle of thickness relation with energy band gap. | ||
