| Our research on Applied Linguistics, which is the focus of our study, will include: Introduction to general linguistics, and then a presentation of Applied Linguistics in the Arab and Western heritage, with brief examples of both heritage, its origin, meaning, terminology, And the relationship between these sources and the browser of the Arab linguistic heritage finds that Applied Linguistics has a long history in Arabic linguistic heritage, and also finds that Al-Jahiz is the scholar of applied language.
