| Iraq in the nineteenth century bears the brunt of a clique devastating its man ، fauna، flora ، striping the country of its scientific and epistemic merits ، squandering its sources ، casting man، steeped in poverty and sustenance lack ، into coercion and oppression and yoking him with wars worth nothing but orphanage and agony : many poets take refuge in alienation ، surrender to nothingness ،appeal to life as it is and fail to set himself free from its fangs. Under such circumstance redolent of atrocities ، some poets revert into imam Al-Hussein as a lighthouse ، a pathway and a haven they could shield themselves from the vice of the age ، find salvation and resuscitate hope ; henceforth they trip to such vents and rotate around them if need be or despondency looms larger and larger in their life; Imam Al-Hussein fro them an identity and a land ، eveternity and celestiality ، a fount of fertility and foliage ، certitude drags them from scepticism ، as he is a golden stair to Him. For the abundance of the ninetieth century poets ، for the diverse allusions to the imam Al-Hussein and for the versatile and untraceable merits of such a figure delimitation is hard to be we do choose such a poet to be a sample : Hussein Al- Qasa | ||
