| Mosul is one of the most important cities in which Hanbalis appeared, especially it was famous for its hundreds of hadith scholars during the third and fourth centuries A.H. / 9th and 10th centuries A.D. Hanbalis formed a fundamental pillar in intellectual life of Mosul during the period under consideration, through teaching and granting scientific and religious certificates plus authorship. | ||
