| Abstract | ||
| This paper deals with studying of the poetic image in the poetry of Ibn Al-Tuthariya in an attempt to show the nature and function of this image in the life of its owner. It presents a glimpse at the beginning of the viewpoints of the old and modern scholars in the concept of the image, and then among the most important tributaries of the image, on the vocabulary of those tributaries, which springs in his poems rich areas of images. The image was the starting point in the construction of poetic image to provide the reader through a wide world of enjoyable poetic image. These tributaries of nature, which returned to him an image of his aspirations and dreams of drawing beautiful paintings of Morality, using the patterns of rhetorical and sensual image, which is highly poetic and decorative one. The study tries to clarify this through the analysis of these images and evaluate their role in the tightening of the mind of the recipient. | ||
