Abstract
The aim of this research is to analyze the content of the book of economics for the fifth grade applied in the light of the concepts of sustainable development for the academic year (2016-2017).To achieve this goal, a list of concepts of sustainable development, which should be included in the book of Economics for the fifth grade applied science, was developed after reviewing a collection of literature, research and studies.He presented a list of three concepts for sustainable social, economic and environmental development.The list was submitted to a group of arbitrators (56).The researcher analyzed the contents of the economics book in the light of the list that was built.Content analysis included (80) pages.The idea was adopted as a unit for registration and replication of the census unit.Analysis by random sample of their presentation to the arbitrators, was unanimous in the validity of the analysis, using Holsti equation stability analysis was in agreement with the external analyst and researcher and the same account.The most important findings of the researcher to neglect the book of economics for the fifth grade applied scientific many of the major issues and sub-issues of each concept, and this means that there is a weakness in the order of the book and its topics.The Social Concept: The absence of four important issues in the book of economics for fifth grade applied science (social justice, population, housing and security).The Economic Concept: The emphasis of the book of economics on the fifth grade applied to economic development and the patterns of production and consumption because of their role in achieving the sustainable development goals of the individual and society.The Environmental Concept: The absence of two important issues in the book of economics for fifth grade applied science (biological diversity, fresh water).And that the reason for this is the lack of integration, sequencing and continuity between the subjects of the book of the economy of the fifth grade applied science.
