| Abstract | ||
| Abstract This study aims at exploring the effect of the active learning and directed ،education in the progress and retention،for the fifth year students of the scientific branch in،biology. To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher depended on the empirical method using three equivalent groups of 75 students. The researcher prepared the requirement of the study and the progress test, then he used the psychometric characteristics. The researcher used disparity analysis assessing its parts at 0.05 level of indication. The results showed the success of the use of active learning and directed education in the progress in biology. The study ,also, showed the level،of ،retention at the 0.05 active learning. The study found out،recommendations and some propositions were given by the researcher to complete the study. | ||
