| The areal expansion of cities is a global phenomenon include cities in the developed and developing countries, small ones, medium and large, there is no city in the world has not seen the expansion in the area, or an increase in the size of its population, and the increase in population numbers accompanied by an increase in the demand for land in the city, and this the growing demand for land in the city is just to meet the growing requirements of the population to urban land to meet the growing requirements of the population in the uses of different ground, and this is what we observe in the town of Hawija, there is a great relationship between the population and the number on one side and an area of the city and its expansion on the other.
