| Abstract | ||
| This study aimed to investigate the effect of the program counseling to alleviating post- traumatic stress disorder among a sample of Tikrit University students, sample consisted of (8) students from the first stage students in the Department of History / Faculty of Education (Humanities) / University of Tikrit, and then distributed randomly into two groups: an experimental group received its members pilot program according to cognitive-behavioral therapy to relieve post- traumatic stress disorder among a sample through guidance collective and by (12) session guidance, and a control group did not receive its members any training, adopted researcher scale (Davidson , 1987 ) , the results show statistical differences between the experimental group and the control group at (0, 05) and in the interest of the experimental group after its members received program in accordance with cognitive -behavioral therapy. | ||
