Abstract
Abstract:
The present study examines Japan's new education policy as adopted by the Japanese government and the American occupation authority after the end of the Second World War and the radical changes it produced in the country's system before the end of the war. These changes took place in difficult circumstances experienced by the Japanese after the devastation resulted from that war.
