| Abstract Preventive Medicine in the Prophetic thought is a research we manipulated in it the most instructions and advices from the Prophet Muhammad for all humanity, not only for Muslims, the research included a preventive information that a man should comply with it and work on its application to be full of sound body and spirit, the Prophetic instructions didn’t confine on the body, but also extended to the treatment of the soul as well, it has become clear to us that these instructions and advices given by the Holy Prophet had preceded the modern medicine nearly 1,400 years have passed. Advices’ prominent aspects were rightness which indicates an urgent necessary in the framework of commitment to it. We have divided the research into two parts divided into articles, the first concerns the meaning of medicine, prophylaxis, and preventive medicine in terms of lexical and language. The second part dealt with the evidences of preventive medicine in the prophetic thought, we study into it, First: food and drink; Second: the prophylaxis of infection; Third: the Prophetic prompting on hygiene to prevent illnesses | ||
