| Abstract | ||
| The Present research aims at measuring fear in adolescents and knowing the significance of differences according to the variables of age and gender. The sample of the present research consists of (200) equally distributed male and female adolescents from the ages (12، 13، 14) from the intermediate schools in Baghdad ، both from Al- Karkh and Al- Rusafa . The researcher adopted the scale of AL-Shara،a (2007) for measuring fear for adolescences exposed it on Iraqi environment by exposing it to a group of experts . The researcher has ascertained from the psychometric properties of the scale، such validity and reliability by using two methods namely face validity and the construction validity. However، the reliability has been found by using two methods، namely، re-test and Alpha- Grenache. The researcher has arrived at the following results: 1- The adolescents in the present research sample suffer from fear. 2- Fear in all adolescents does not change according age. 3- Fear in all adolescents does not change according gender (males – females). | ||
