| Abstract | ||
| The research starts from the premise (embraced by the researcher) That there is a strategy rules every argumentative speech and dominated by it. And it's manifested through logical and linguistic argument tools employed carefully to serve this strategy because it's dominated by the whole speech. And this hypothesis had been applied on Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib covenant (peace be upon him) to Muawiya Ibn Abi Sufyan and this covenant Can be divided into three logical units the most of them are thresholds for the text when it analysed. the research made for it three Ti hes and they are the first threshold (this is not your specialty) the second threshold (Muhammad's family kindness the third threshold (opposite argument) the text with it's three supposed thresholds controled by the strategy of exclusion; belittle muawiya and he is no match for imam Ali (peace be upon him) and the research has employed argument mechanisms to verify the research hypothesis. | ||
