Abstract
Abstract :
The research evaluated the effect Of the power plants (Hartha and Najeebiya) on shatt Al Arab water quality at 2015. It evaluates 6 samples for three sites to each plant. The analysis considered most of water chemical elements, water temperature drain water and Ec. The result shows high drain water temp. of 42 c compared with normal river water 22 c. The average drain water recharge to the river are 80000 and 12800 L/ h for the plants respectively. The EC, Cl, Na, Ca are ( 3 – 4 ,2 ) des . cem., (338- 362) , (271- 341) , and (167,197) mg / L respectively . most of the results are considered as unsuitable for most of economic uses.
