Abstract
The current study was conducted for six months from July to December 2017. The samples were collected from the goats in Karbala governorate and the work was done in the postgraduate laboratory at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University. The results of the study showed that the highest rate of infection of goats in general was higher in the month of August, 45.57%, while the lowest rate in November, the rate of 28.40%. As for the percentage of infection by sex, the rates of infection of males and females ranged between 20% to 40.65% for males, and for females, the incidence ranged from 36.80% to 50.50%. In terms of infection rates by age, the proportion of goats was less than 27.20% - 41.95%, while the largest goat of the year was 21.42% - 50%. The results of the study showed no difference in the incidence of infection between males and females. اجريت الدراسة الحالية لمدة ستة اشهر بدءا من شهر تموز وانتهاء بشهر كانون الاول من عام 2017 اذ تم جمع العينات من الماعز المجزورة في محافظة كربلاء ثم اجري العمل في مختبر الدراسات العليا في كلية الطب البيطري بجامعة كربلاء . اوضحت نتائج الدراسة ان اعلى نسبة إصابة للماعز بشكل عام كانت في شهر اب والبالغة 45.57% في حين كانت اقل نسبة اصابه في شهر تشرين الثاني والبالغه 28.40% . اما نسبة الإصابة حسب الجنس فتباينت نسب الإصابة للذكور والاناث اذ تراوحت ما بين 20% الى 40.65% للذكور ,وبالنسية للإناث فقد تراوحت نسبة الإصابة ما بين 36.80% الى 50.50% . اما من حيث نسب الإصابة حسب العمر فكانت نسبة اصابة الماعز الاقل من سنه ما بين 27.20% - 41.95% ,اما الماعز الاكبر من سنه فقد كانت نسبة الإصابة ما بين 21.42% – 50 % . وقد اوضحت نتائج الدراسة عدم اختلاف في نسب الإصابة بين الذكور والاناث .
