Abstract
The research aims to build a scale of the psychological courage of the students of Mosul University and measure the level of courage they have to achieve the goals of the research. The researchers defined the concept and its fields consisting of seven fields (mental abilities, leadership, self-efficacy, altruism, patience, risk and quality of life and belonging) The research community was consistde from (31550) students In the scientific and humanitarian colleges at the University of Mosul for the academic year (2017-2018) distributed by sex, specialization and grade (all the grades except the fifth and sixth grades in the medical and engineering colleges The research samples consisted of (1391) male and female students. The researchers investigated the Standard indicators of the scale by extracting validity and reliability. After the scale was finalized, it consisted of (50) paragraphs and for each paragraph there were three positions to answer. The researchers applied the scale to a sample of (955) (8) colleges and after correcting their answers, the data were processed statistically. The results were presented and a number of recommendations and suggestions were formulated.
