| Abstract | ||
| The reader of the poetic verses that tackle the tribe in the pre- Islamic paganism finds that they describe the tribe as a coherent physical unit which has its own convention that may considered inviolable by the members. As soon as Islam appeared the coherence of the tribe has been be demanded when most tribes, that embraced Islam abandoned their customs that are not in harmony with Islamic principles. This has been rejected by some of the poets of that era. This study tries to detect the aspects of this refusal by those poets. The study consists of an in introduction which deals with the concept of refusal its reasons and factors that brought it into view at that time The introduction is followed by a review of the as peats of the refusal and how the poets expressed their refusal the poems. The study ended with a conclusion which comprises the most important finding that have been reached and followed with a bibliography which contains the references that have been consulted in this study. . | ||
