Abstract
تعد السیاسة الامریکیة تجاه الصومال من اهم مجالات البحث على صعید منطقة القرن الافریقی، بحکم الاهمیة الاستراتیجیة للصومال، والتطورات الامنیة التی عانى منها الصومال منذ انهیار الدولة الصومالیة فی العام 1991، وقد ادت الهجمات الارهابیة على الولایات المتحدة فی 11 أیلول/ سبمتمبر2001 عودة الصومال الى صدارة الاهتمام الامریکی بحکم لجوء العدید من الارهابیین الى الصومال، بل ان الارهاب اخذ ینتشر من داخل الصومال الى خارج أراضیه مما أسهم بعدم استقرار الصومال الذی انعکس بشکل واضح على عدم استقرار منطقة القرن الافریقی، ولا بد من التأکید على ان السیاسة الامریکیة لدیها العدید من الاهداف التی تسعى الى تحقیقها فی الصومال وهی اهداف سیاسیة واقتصادیة وامنیة وانسانیة، وتبنت لهذا الغرض مجموعة من الوسائل لتحقیقها التی تنوعت بدورها بتنوع هذه الاهداف.
