| Abstract | ||
| Chorology - Region - Landschaft - Landscape - Geosphere - Compage, all of these terms represent the historical stages of the development of concepts of geographical Areal. In this research, which is within the field of geographic thought, discussing these terms and the geographers' view of them. In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the topic of the research was divided into two parts. The first section dealt with the historical stages of the development of the concept of geographical Areal, which are each of the territory, the landscape and the landscape, down to the compage and the term space geography. The second section dealt with the study, analysis and discussion of the concept of the region throughout history in terms of definition, the topics of the region, the defects of the region, the borders of the geographical region, and the size of the geographical region. | ||
