| Abstract | ||
| The research attempts to throw light on the scientific efforts of professor Dr. Taha Khuder Obaid to upgrade the level of academic Education at Mosul University and the development of historical studies through his published books and researches. Professor Dr. Taha Khuder Obaid is regarded one of pioneer Professors at the University of Mosul ,in a specialty whose speciality is Islamic and Byzantine history. He has clear fingerprints In Islamic and Byzantine Studies. His published books are (13) books. He has also published about 50 scientific historical studies and researches. He has a special interest in studying in the history of Mosul City, particularly during of the Abbasid Period. His last book (Studies on Mosul in Abbasid era) confirms his love for Mosul and his affiliation to the City of Mosul. | ||
