| Abstract | ||
| Electronic agricultural extension is an extension system based on information and communication technology that helps to improve the function of the agricultural extension system, help in the sustainability of its services, and has a significant role in bringing about behavioral changes at all levels and reducing temporal barriers between individuals and rural communities ,where the research population included all employees of the Directorate of Agriculture of Dohuk, who numbered (256), the researchers used the simple random sampling method, where a percentage (23%) was used to choose the research sample, so the number of respondents reached (60) respondents, the researchers used the questionnaire in the process of data collection where the questionnaire consists of two parts. The first part consists of a set of social and functional variables for agricultural employees. The second part consists of scale include a set of items on the knowledge awareness of agricultural employees in the field of using electronic agricultural extension. the researchers used a set of statistical methods to analyze the research data where the use of the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and chi-square for analyzing the research data, the results showed that the knowledge awareness of agricultural employees in the field of using electronic agricultural extension average tends to rise, and the results of the research showed that there is a significant correlation between each of the independent variables (social status and upbringing) and the knowledge awareness of agricultural employees in the field of using electronic extension. The researchers recommended the need to direct agricultural administrations to work on improving the level of internet service as the main and decisive element in the success of electronic agricultural extension system, and intensifying training courses for employees and everyone who participates in electronic extension rooms, both in terms of application and in terms of solving farmers'' problems. | ||
