Abstract
This study was carried out in the non-heating plastic house belonging to the Agricultural Research and Experiment Station of the Faculty of Agriculture، University of Kirkuk, during the growth season 2016 -2017, to study the effect of spraying with licorice root extract and Phosgard 75 and their interactions on the yield of strawberry varieties (Fragaria x ananassa Duch.) The plants were sprayed with three levels of licorice extract (0,2 and 4) g. l-1 and three levels of Phosgard 75 (0,2 and 4) ml.l-1 and two varieties of strawberry (Rubygem and Festival). The experiment was carried out according to the randomized complete Block design (R.C.B.D.) as a factorial experiment with three replicates and six seedlings per experimental unit. The results were statistically analyzed using the ready-made SAS V 9.0 program and means were compared with the Duncan Multipliers at a probability level (0.05). The results showed that the spraying of plants with licorice extract and Phosgard (75) significantly increased the number of flowers، number of fruits، fruit weight، plant yield. Rubygem was superior in all studied traits and all interactions between the factors of the study were significantly affected all the studied characteristics.
