| Abstract | ||
| Linked to the geographical place, it is the base geographical studies, but this place is not a focus of research and study in itself, but the contents of natural phenomena and human, and linked by relationships, to give a personal and special place, this is the one side and the other hand, may lead these relationships to create problems or conflict between different phenomena, leading the reflection of those problems and links to several different phenomena, which makes them grow and develop in a positive way may serve the phenomena, or negatively may harm them, It pays to geographical interest in the study of these problems to develop appropriate solutions, and then reduce the damage resulting therefrom as much as possible, or work to find appropriate ways to take advantage of them in the development of people's lives and livelihood in that place. Operates infrastructure services space inside the place (city), which drives the geographical attention to this aspect as one of the research topics and study, for its community facilities for living as well as considered an indicator of well-being of society, the lack of services, competence and efficiency required, it creates problems of instability of living of the population who rushes to look for alternatives to compensate for the shortfall by, and may be those alternatives solutions with negative implications for the long run, infrastructure services, which represent the stand-alone problems added to the problems of infrastructure, because of their own solutions temporary may not take into account the technical basis and the environment for service on the one hand The place has on the other. Therefore be addressed in this chapter, geographic location and characteristics (location, position) of the city of Karbala, and the most prominent human characteristics, which have a direct reflection of the impact on infrastructure services and the degree of availability and Kvotha within the city. | ||
