| Abstract | ||
| This study included investigation about trophozoite and cyst stages of Entamoeba histolytica and Giardia lamblia in fecal samples from ( 220 ) patients attended hospitals of Al – Khalis and Baladruz and suffered from diarrhea during 1-1 to 31-12-2006 . The high percentage of infetion in age less than year was (39.5%) and in males was more than in females . In urban and rural the percentage of infection were (53.4 and 55.6 ) % respectively . The percentage of infection in water of well was more than the other water sources (65.2%) . In children the percentage of infection was very high (66.8%) while in university students was very low (0.5%) . The percentage of infections of Entamoeba histolytica and Giardia lamblia were (70.5 and 29.5)% respectively . | ||
