Abstract
Transitional justice is no longer just philosophical ideas in the field of societal peace. Instead, it has become of practical importance and acquired a realistic dimension in societies that have gone through violent crises, such as wars and armed conflicts, that usually leave a sharp social division. Transitional justice has become a priority when it comes to restructuring state institutions and perpetuating civil peace.
