Abstract
Abstract The history of physical education is related to human history from the beginning of the universe until our time, and the history of physical education includes a description of sports and educational events in the sports field and the recording of those successive events through the ages, Therefore, the study of the history of physical education is of great importance to workers in the sports field, including teachers and coaches, because their success in their mission depends on their full understanding of the steps and stages that the physical education has gone through and the full awareness of the principles, systems and methods that they passed from time to time, and the researchers want through this research Knowing the history of the Student Activities Department at the University of Mosul and who are the managers who have been managing it since its establishment to the present time, as well as knowing the sports, artistic, cultural and scouting activities of this department for the academic years (2017-2018) and (2018-2019).
